I have found that, no matter what else is going on in my busy life, it can be incredibly satisfying—calming even—to use products that have been exceptionally designed. Sometimes these can have added functionality, but often they are merely beautiful. And because of their beauty, even common everyday objects bring an incredible amount of pleasure to my life.

Given this small obsession, I cannot seem to get enough of Better Living Through Design. The authors find the most beautiful, well-designed objects from across the globe and put them together in one handy little blog. Most of the stuff is beyond my price range, but a guy can dream, can't he?
