Here’s a great repository of fantastic examples of vintage and modern letterhead from an amazingly large selection of people and companies, some of them quite famous. Our big thanks to Shaun Usher at Letterheady for collecting them and taking the time to clean them up.

Many, such as Harpo Marx’s, are decidedly over the top, while others, like Alfred Hitchcock’s, are sublimely simple. I particularly like the one for Robot Salesmen, but that’s just my inner 10-year old talking.

For me, these serve as a reminder that stationery does not need to be too formal or stuffy. We hope you enjoy them as much as we do.
